Who is Holcim EBS?
European Business Services (EBS), formerly Holcim Business Services, is part of the Holcim Group, a global leader in building materials. Based in Košice, Slovakia, EBS supports 23 countries across Europe, with headquarters in Switzerland.
At the heart of Košice, a team of 300 professionals provides administrative support in accounting, customer service, HR, procurement, as well as automation, robotics, process improvement, data analytics, and business integration for both European and global operations.

OUR DEPARTMENTS
Our team of professionals supports partner group companies across Europe — from financial transactions such as accounting, invoicing, and master data maintenance to HR administration. These services are organized into six main streams:
The foundational financial engine of our European operations. This team manages the entire end-to-end accounting lifecycle, precise financial reporting, fixed assets, vendor payments, and group financial consolidation. It ensures total corporate compliance through rigorous audit support and the expert management of the daňová agenda (including indirect tax, transfer pricing, and daňové audity), providing the accurate data that guides the group's strategic decisions.
The business intelligence hub of the organization. This team focuses on turning complex corporate structure data into actionable insights through specialized Centers of Excellence, including GHAR (Global HR Analytics & Reporting) and financial data stream tracking. By building advanced compliance tools, automated reporting systems, and interactive performance dashboards, they enable data-driven decision-making at the global group level.
The primary lifecycle link between our customers, procurement strategies, and global supply chain networks. This department manages everything from customer credit control, revenue/discount administration, and pohľadávky (accounts receivable) optimization, to vendor master data, purchase order processing, and invoice verification. They drive cash flow productivity while maintaining smooth, compliant relationships with external partners and suppliers.
The digital innovation center redefining operational efficiency across the global organization. This team leverages cutting-edge technology to automate complex workflows, eliminate manual, repetitive tasks, and deploy advanced digital solutions. Their core technical focus centers on the development and implementation of Intelligent Automation, Cognitive RPA, Learning Bots, NLP (Natural Language Processing), process mining, and learning OCR.
The dedicated support system for our most valuable asset: our people. This team enhances the daily employee experience by managing the complete lifecycle of global talent with care, equity, and operational efficiency. Their comprehensive daily responsibilities include talent acquisition support, attendance tracking, precise payroll processing, and total HR administrative compliance from an employee's first day through to retirement.
